Yvonne’s motto is “you are not as old as you are, but as young as you let yourself be.” Yvonne is a big animal lover, an avid vegetarian, and a self-proclaimed dog whisperer (“Because all dogs love me”). She is a mother of two beautiful children and three furry babies (two chihuahuas and a melanistic bengal cat), a loving wife, a women’s boutique owner, and a health nut. After losing her thyroid in 2013, following a ten year battle with autoimmune disease, Yvonne focused her attentions on healing herself with organic and non-gmo foods and lots and lots of vegetable juicing. Yvonne got her Bachelors in Nutrition and her Masters in Public Health with a focus on Nutrition Dietetics from the California State University, Northridge. And as she likes to say, she pretty much has a PhD in “mothering,” fashion, and Paleo cooking and lifestyle for health benefits. Yvonne eats a vegetarian diet (with the exception of fish and seafood), free of gluten, dairy, and sugar.
Nichole is a nerd at heart who loves Doctor Who, comic books, and scifi and fantasy. She is an avid reader, a writer, and an aspiring Masterchef contestant ( 😉 ) in the kitchen. She is also a fashion and makeup junkie who just can’t get enough. After getting her Bachelors in English and her Masters in Journalism and Media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Nichole spent three year at Michigan State University where she received her Juris Doctor (having survived the Polar Vortex of 2014 and the Snowpocalypse of 2015). After a difficult summer studying for and taking the Nevada state bar, Nichole can finally focus on herself and experience a little fun and sunshine in Las Vegas, Nevada. Time to lose those 30 pounds you gained in law school! Nichole eats a vegetarian diet (with the exception of shellfish), semi-gluten free, and is usually failing to be sugar-free.
